Yes folks, a little over six months ago I started my internship at First Public Relations, and now it’s time to wrap things up. My God time flies!   So what’s happened over the past six months I hear you thinking? Well, I’ve had an amazing placement first and foremost, where I have learned so much about tourism pr and marketing. I genuinely believe this placement has benefited my personal development and professional development. Secondly the guys here at FPR gave me plenty of opportunities to learn about some truly fabulous destinations, of which personally I find Seattle and Washington State the most attractive. Okay okay, Aqua Hotels and Resorts is a close second being in such a tropical setting with equally impressive hotels, but overall working at FPR has really boosted my knowledge of the tourism industry and provided me with key pr and marketing experience.

And these positive feelings continue regarding London. Such a fantastic city! I enjoyed all the wonderful parks and neighbourhoods, the endless list of things to do and obviously the English bar in central London where we watched six fantastic and one less fantastic match of the Dutch football team.

So, now being six months later and a hell of a lot wiser than when I came in, I want to pay special tribute to all of FPR staff that have been so kind in giving me this opportunity and have supported and coached me the past six months.
