…when you’re having fun! That certainly is a statement I can agree with when looking back on my placement period here at First PR in London. I started off in the beginning of cold February, which as I write it down now does seem like quite a while ago. I honestly have to admit that I was a total newbie in the travel PR business and thanks to FPR I can now say I’m not anymore!

During the past six months I’ve been fortunate to learn a lot about the great destinations FPR represents. I fell in love with Seattle and Washington State, with a little help of Twilight, while on the other hand the –sort of cute- polar bears in Manitoba means it is now added to my list as well. Well, and for all that I’ve seen on my screen of Miami, that vibrant place certainly deserves a place on the list as well. London will stay on my list, as I’ve found it a great pleasure to live in this metropolitan city of the world.

After six months I can still be surprised by new neighbourhoods I haven’t seen before and I don’t know exactly how to call it, but I love the ‘spontaneous edge’ of the city. In conclusion I want to give great credit to my colleagues at First PR, with special notice to Sam and Eve who have done a great deal in guiding me throughout the way. I very much appreciate the way they’ve given me the chance to develop myself and actually let me be creative – something I found out I very much like! I’m more than confident that this experience will be the perfect foundation for my future career in the tourism industry!
